 The Boys Season 2 Review - the boy season 3 update This Amazon series is set in a world where there are superheroes; they aren't typical superheroes though; they work for the powerful Vought Corporation and consider ratings and profit to be more important than saving lives. They are also arrogant, disillusioned or generally unpleasant. The worst of these are 'The Seven', the most senior heroes who are heavily marketed by Vought. Working to expose them is a group known as 'The Boys'; led by Billy Butcher who is convinced that leader of the heroes, Homelander, is responsible for the disappearance of his wife.  Raised By Wolves Review - Hbo Max - Season 2 update!! EDIT: Season finale Shaved off generously only 1 star for the dumbest season finale I've seen in a while. Ragnar is fading away into oblivious irrelevance like he did in Vikings. Sci-fi. Drama. Horror. Family. AI. Fantasy. Religion. and now, add Jurassic Park to the already convoluted theme. This is what happens when Ridley Scott is involved with the 2 first episodes, and then all the writers start getting confused/lazy as the series progresses. Are the same writers that started to mess up Westworld into one convoluted mess trying to disguise itself as an intelligent series are involved in this series? This has to be probably one of the worst season finales to a new series I've seen. It sure is a good way to lose your audience after only 10 episodes, so they better come up with one heck of an impressive first 2 episodes in the second season if they want to save their audience - and the series. Having read a few reviews I'm surprised to see people that hated the show, stuck with it, until series two's conclusion. A mystery to me. Personally I really enjoyed 13 reasons why, and far from glamourising teen suicide, I believe it showed it to be a hirrifhoact, with long reaching factors, and I believe it also showed the pressures faced by today's young generation, the pressures and expectations they feel they must live up to. Some episodes were better then others, but the high standard of storytelling and acting was maintained throughout. I think the Hannah Baker plot has now reached saturation point, so I'm relieved to see she won't appear in the third series. I must take issue with the producers for making the infamous toilet
